Rib Cage Placement

Preparation:

  • Lay on your back hands at side, knees bent, feet hip width apart as shown
  • Breathe in through your nose and expand your rib cage
  • Breathe out through your mouth  and let your ribs relax
  • Throughout the motions of this exercise, keep your rib placement

Execution:

  • Raise arms to centre
  • Reach arms overhead, controlling your rib cage
  • Return arms to centre, return arms to side
